About Sapna

I’m Sapna Lakhani, a dramatherapist and therapeutic coach. I believe every feeling is a doorway to wholeness, and that your deepest struggles can become the very guides that lead you home. My work is about creating a safe, confidential space where you can pause, breathe, and truly listen to yourself. Together, we explore what life has been asking of you, transform old patterns, and awaken the strength and clarity that have been within you all along.

When I’m not working, I love spending time in nature and moving in ways that bring me back to myself.

You’ll often find me practising yoga, dancing 5Rhythms, travelling to places that inspire me, or walking my dog. I enjoy chatting over tea and have a deep appreciation for massage and other nourishing practices that support wellbeing. I also take part in plant medicine ceremonies as part of my own inner work and commitment to living what I share with others.

Why I Do This Work

Like many of the women I work with, I reached a point where life on the outside looked fine — but inside, I felt disconnected, quietly overwhelmed, and asking myself, “Is this really it?”

Therapy, spiritual practice, and deep self-discovery taught me something life-changing: those moments of struggle are not signs that something is wrong — they are invitations. Invitations to pause, to feel, and to grow into a truer, freer version of ourselves.

Over the years, I have travelled widely and explored many paths of inner work — spending time in ashrams with wise teachers, practising yoga, and studying Tantra. I trained in psychotherapy and dramatherapy, learned to listen to the body through somatic practices, and deepened my understanding through transpersonal inquiry. Each step revealed that our feelings are not obstacles to overcome but messengers pointing us toward wholeness.

This is why I do this work: to offer a confidential, compassionate space where women can explore what’s really going on beneath the surface, gently release old patterns, and reconnect with clarity, freedom, and aliveness.

If you’re ready to explore what life might be inviting you into, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

My Approach

My approach combines psychotherapy, transpersonal principles, and somatic methods — gentle, effective ways of working that recognise both the wisdom of the body and the deeper layers of the mind. This means we can explore not just what’s happening on the surface, but the patterns that may have been quietly shaping your life for years.

In our sessions, we talk — but we may also use creative and body-based techniques such as guided visualisation, body awareness, and simple expressive exercises. These approaches can be especially helpful when words aren’t enough, or when you want to connect with your feelings in a deeper, more embodied way.

People often come to me for support with:

• Anxiety, worry, or low mood

• Relationship challenges

• Navigating change, uncertainty, or loss

• Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected

• Building confidence, self-trust, and self-compassion

I work gently and at your pace, creating a safe, confidential space where every part of you is welcome. Together, we focus on what matters most to you so you can feel more grounded, clearer about your next steps, and more able to live in alignment with what truly matters.
